SOHT 2013

It was a dark and stormy night...... Wait, no. It was a cloudy and dreary day, perfect for SOHT 2013.

This year the theme was Alfred Hitchcok movies. It was cold and cloudy and we were out in the country. Perfect setting for a horror movie. But fear not! 'Twas just a bunch of letterboxers gathering together for an event. No murders or ghosts.... Well, there were 13 ghost there that night...

Tyrus and I piled into his parent's new car the morning of October 12, 2013. It was very cold and luckily the fire was going by the time we arrived. Eventually it got warm and sunny. This year the entire event was held at Cat's place, which I liked much better. We weren't running around or getting lost this year.

This year I wore my tail to the event. People got a kick out of that and the kids had fun playing "Pin the Cootie on Catchow's Tail." Half of the time I forgot I was even wearing my tail.

Food. FOOD. I love events so much because of the food. People were ever so kind to label food with peanuts so I wouldn't eat them. No trip to the hospital for me! Pretty much everyone picked at the food the entire day. There was more than enough to go around. I really liked these rice crispy pumpkin treats someone made. However, it had a tootsie roll in it for a stem and I don't like those, so I gave them to Tyrus.

The day trails were pretty cool. Tyrus and I went with a couple of other letterboxers to find one of the two day trails. It was fun letterboxing with people you don't normally letterbox with. It was also nice that I wasn't reading the clues. What I liked about this trail we did was that there were these crows at most of the boxes.

When we returned we had lunch and then went on the second day trail with Tyrus' parents. It was his dad's first time being at an event for the entire time. It was interesting letterboxing with his parents. It was a first boxing with both of them.

The trails were so pretty during the day. I love Autum so much. The property was beautiful and the rebuilt houses were so cool. It was so tranquil except for the neighbor's dog that wouldn't stop barking!!

The nice thing about arriving at the beginning is getting all exchanges out of the way so you can hang out for the rest of the time. Although, you still end up doing exchanges throught the day but not in one big chunk that takes up most of the event. I love seeing everyone' signature stamp. It's so interesting.

Night boxing. Oh night boxing. We were the third or fourth group this year to go. Last year Tyrus, Indiana Tim and I were the last to go. Indiana Time wasn't able to make it this year due to car troubles. Oh well.

Tyrus, his father, and I were on our toes the entire time while boxing. Mother Hen read the clues while the three of us scanned the woods for anyone who wanted to try to scare us. Tyrus's father was a military cop, Tyrus is in school to be a cop and has had some training, and I'm going to be studying to be a park ranger.we all were pretty much acting like cops on a search while we were boxing. We found the two just about every time and avoided being scared. However, when we finished the trail, that's when he got me. Came up behind me and scared the living crap out of me. I spun around and almost socked him in this face. Luckily, for him, Tyrus had his arm around me and so I wasn't able to go through with the punch.

All the stamps were excellent like always. Some of my favorite stamps were actually personal travelers. There were a couple of trail stamps the got me on a rant about some of Stephen King's movie... That's a story for another time.

I want to say thanks to all that carved. An event isn't the same without stamps and I know as a host, you don't have a time to carve a dozen or so stamps. I wished I could have helped out but I didn't know anything about Alfred Hitchock and his movies.

I really liked the 13 ghost night trail based off a movie about 12 ghosts trapped in a house and they needed 13th to open something that led to something bad. I don't know. I want to see the movie though.

I had fun this year. I can't wait until next year where I will seek my revenge(muhahaha).

And next year it should be Supernatural(the TV show) themed. *hint* *hint*

50th Aniversary of Doctor Who Event

I know, I know, it's about time! I've had so much to do these past months since the event. I've started my senior year of school, gone on college visits, worked on summer homework, worked on my etsy shop. So much stuff going on!!
However, I've saved this post for my 50th blog post!

On July 27th I hosted my first event, 50th Anniversary of  Doctor Who. Took me about three days to set up and only three hours to tear down. But like any large event, you didn't do it all on your own. I had help from Tyrus(who sadly got sick on the second set up day), Mother Hen, Tyrus' sister, and my mother. Planning and organizing event take up so much time and aren't has easy as they seem!

The event was held at my church so I was able to spend that much time on it. I decorated almost every inch of the church that I could. Indiana Time and Bananas in Indiana came over the night before and helped us with the finishing touches. Indiana Tim even build and brought a TARDIS! If you don't know what that is, it is a time machine that is bigger on the inside.
I moved a million miles per hour the entire event. I arrived easily and hid the boxes and wrote up the clues before it started. Then we had people showing up and hour earlier that were not expected. I kept running around showing people where to go, where to put things, plans for today, and so on. I don't think I actually slowed down until the last couple hours!
The news said it was going to rain and rain it did. Muggy and wet beginning to the event but it didn't rain the entire time. It a tally was beautiful weather after everyone left! We had 10 traditional Doctor Who themed letterboxes hidden on the property. There isn't a lot of trees or hiding spots at the church so everything was hidden pretty close to the building. This issue with this is that everyone started snatching up the boxes! An announcement was made to leave the boxes be until people got clues. I had three sets of clues printed and out for people to find the boxes. However, no matter how many times I repeated myself, people kept asking when I was going to give out clues. Having all of the boxes in a small area I didn't want everyone to flood to them so I only had three sets. I announced that all the clues were out. People still asked. Oh well.

We had tons of food. I made many announcements online to those attending to check to see if anything they were bringing contained peanuts so they can be put on a separate table. I am allergic to peanuts. No one brought peanuts, which was nice.

We had a trivia PowerPoint and music running for the beginning which was pretty cool. Later we played some episodes of Doctor Who. There were many people there who didn't know anything about Doctor Who and some who did. We even had people dress up!

The only scheduled event we has was the raffle. I got many donations from all over for the event raffle. Logbooks, gift cards, Doctor Who stuff, and a lot of other cool stuff. I wrapped everything up so that no one knew what they were getting. However, in order to participate in the raffle you had to bring a can good for my church's food pantry. Each person could get one ticket per item on the list that they brought, for up to 3 items. It was an awesome turn out! We raised 152 items to donate to the food pantry!

The closer we got to 6 p.m. more and more people left. In the last hourish I got to sit down and stamp the mound of travelers and trade sig stamps and finally calm down! The event turned out better than I thought it would. We had a great turn out and a lot of people came. I had a great time planning and hosting this event. I think I'll wait until I'm done with college before I host another!
When I got, home low and behold my letterboxing bag had cooties in it! That was quiet the surprise!
Just wanted to say thanks to everyone who carved and donated stamps for the traditional series. Thanks to everyone who donated items for the raffle and to everyone who helps set up and tear down. Special thanks to Indiana Tim for bring the TARDIS and of course, thanks to everyone who came!

teehee! I ended up with the 1st Doctor's face on my hand!

Check out more photo from the event on my "Event" tab on my blog!

*Notes to attendees:
The event series "Doctor Who: Then and Now" is listed as a Traditional series, not as event boxes. I listed them this way because they are traditional boxes and will be planted permanently; you had to have clues to find them in order; and I based it off a letterboxer who has been hosting events for years.

What A Turnout-The Franklin County Fair

A couple of weeks ago was my county's fair. I am a member of 4-H. This will be my 4th year at fair, I think...
Well, fist year I did a photography project, got state alternate. Now I really, really hoped the state fair girl wouldn't be able to go mainly because I didn't want to go to band camp(band's a whole different story!).
The past three years I have done Self-Determined Reptiles. This project is not eligible for state fair but can get Best of Show in the county. This project only gets best of show, no 1st, 2nd, or 3 rd place. First year, didn't get it. Ok, my first year, my friend got it. Next year, didn't get it. My friend got it once again. And I know I would have gotten best of show if I haven't of turned my paperwork in first, therefore going first. And I had an outstanding project. Most people do their projects on "what my reptile is, what it eats, how to keep it healthy, blah, blah." I did mine on how snakes move. Now this year my friend was not going to county fair. I still didn't get it. I lost 10 points this year because I forgot a sheet of paper I needed to print from the online thing for self-determined projects. I couldn't believe it. It was very depressing. I had judging a day later and I just didn't want to go. I was done. But I still went.

I also did another self-determined project, one that I could do on any topic. I chose to do letterboxing. Honestly, I took most of my informational How 2's post from my blog, changed a couple of things, then put them on a poster. I did what is letterboxing, supplies you need to go letterboxing, finding clues, and finding boxes. It's a really need poster. Went to the fair and wasn't really confident about it. I was there with Tyrus and my best friend and they kept on encouraging me no matter how down a felt about my reptile project.
We waited and waited in the hot Ohio heat(hottest week of the summer and it just had to be fair week!) and my name was finaly called. I was a bit nervous but I grabbed my poster and letterboxing bag and went to meet with my judge. She was an older lady who was a teacher. She didn't know a thing about letterboxing! I got into it and started telling her about the hobby I love. She often interrupted me and wouldn't let me talk, but she was so interested she pulled out her smart phone and took down the sites I provided for clues!!
I was there forever talking with this lady about letterboxing. I explained everything to her and even brought a sample box to show her. She flat out told me that she was going to give me a 100. I was so happy! But there were a lot of other kids in the Self-Determined Senior class(13 and up, I believe) and only one, ONE is chosen to go to states.
The three of us hung out for a while. Looked at animals, crashed virtual cars, arrested each other and sat in the cop car until it was time for judging. We headed back to the tent and waited through until they got to Self-Determined Senior. I was very nervous by then.
They listed the 5 or 6 kids for Honorable Mention......................... Then state alternate............................. Waiting...................... Only have one chance left................... Waiting.................. Then they call my name!!! I jumped up and practically ran to the back to get my ribbon, T-shirt, and state fair packet! Out of all of the seniors in the class they chose ME to go to states!!! Boy was I excited! I still am!

Nice big purple ribbon! State fair for my class will be on August 4th, 2013 at the Ohio State Fair. All the judging starts around noonish. Boy am I excited! However, I have to redo my poster because it's not the right size. Now, at states I can go as far as winning the clock trophy or something. But I can't wait to see where I go. All thank to Mamma Huntin Dog, she introduced my class to letterboxing and I'm the only one who has ever really tried and stuck with the hobby. And thank you, to everyone. To all the letterboxers. We are like one big family and I have gotten a lot of support and love though everything I have participated in. So, thank you. Without you guys, I don't think I would actually be here.

But that's not all the excitement! Two years ago, while on a scary Ferris wheel, Tyrus asked me out. We just celebrated our two year anniversary. We even rode the scary Ferris wheel again!

What a blast. I truly love letterboxing(and Tyrus too.... I guess :P).

We're Back in the Game!

I meant to post this a long time ago but I've been so busy! My event is coming up so all post will be delayed.

We finally got back to letterboxing!

It started with some planting. I carved a series we were going to plant back in December down in Gatlinburg, Tennessee. Unfortunately, we couldn't find a good spot to plant the five box series so we planted them in Ohio. Tyrus and I spent almost 2 hours planting Tribute to Hostess. I then spent another 2 hours or so writing the clues. I like writing clues. I really liked writing the clues for this series because everything just seemed to work out perfectly.
In the cemetery we planted the boxes, there is a large mausoleum in the center of the property. We looked inside and found this:

It looked like someone (or something) broke out. Kind of creepy....

The next day we went letterboxing! We went own to Greenlawn Cemetery for a couple of hours of boxing.
Our first stop was one of my boxes that needed a new logbook. It was the first logbook that I had to replace. I was happy replacing the logbook because that meant a lot of people found my boxes!

One of my favorite series we found there was Do You Wanna...? Series 2. Sadly one of the boxes was gone.
We spent a lot of time on one series. It took a long time to find because it was like driving through a maze. It didn't help either that there was a bunch of workers out cleaning the grounds.

While boxing we saw this plant...

Does anyone know what type of plant this is?

The last box we found was pretty neat. Had a cool story to go along too. It was about a haunted bridge on grounds.

The bridge obviously isn't being used any more and is pretty hidden. I though it was really neat. I would have loved to see it when it was first built.
That's one of the things that I love about boxing.  Letterboxers take you to places you didn't know about and introduce you to new thing and I love that.

Well, this series also took is to this rope....

Weird, huh? I really want to know why it is there and what it was used for.... and why it hasn't been taken down.

I really like Greenlawn. A lot of boxes there but also a lot of history and plants and animals.
Like groundhogs!
We found these burrow openings which were pretty neat as long as you didn't trip in them!

We also saw a deer on the way out. That was a first for me while letterboxing.

We found a couple of other boxes but had to leave soon. While stamping in our last box that we found, I was complaining to Tyrus about how no matter where I go, I'm always the one taking the pictures and so I'm never in them. So he took my camera while we were stamping in.

My mom said I was looking very Australian. It was hot out...

Tyrus stamping in.

Well, after our lovely time letterboxing we started heading home. Everything was fine and dandy then the wind began to pick up and the sky darkened.
The weather was turning and we left just in time to not get hit by the storm while letterboxing. However, we started noticing some tornado fingers forming.

Luckily, there were no tornados that afternoon! I'm happy to get back into boxing! The season has begun!

Frustrated When "Robbed"

Back in August of 2012 I planted a letterbox at the place I go to get my hair cut. Tyrus introduced my family to this place and our hair cut person is awesome! I had an idea to plant a micro box where the box was a little bottle and the stamp was on the other side of the cork that kept the bottle shut. In the bottle would be a scroll of paper for the logbook. I needed to plant it inside for fear that it wasn't tight enough to keep water out. I chose our hair salon place because not many people know about the place and my hair dresser is really friendly.
A couple of weeks ago I got a report from some boxers that the box was missing. I didn't understand how an indoor letterbox that sat in a plastic indoor tree could just disappear. I then found out that the boxers were rudely treated by an employee who worked there. The door was slammed in their face and was told the box was missing.
That made me really mad. This weekend Tyrus' sister went to get her hair cut and asked about the box for me. It is indeed gone. My hair dresser and the owner of the small salon loved having the letterbox there. It brought in new people and new business. They searched all over the place and didn't find the box. We believe the women who shut the door in the boxers' faces took the box. I know the last person to find the box and that letterboxer wouldn't take a box. Unless another letterboxer took the box and didn't log their find, it was most likely the other women who works there.
This really makes me upset that the box was/could have been taken my an employee. I had permission to have the box there and even left contact information if there was an issue with the box.
I'm not quiet sure what I'm going to do. Recarve it? Replant it? Replant it in a different location? I don't know.
I would have never thought that I would find myself in this situation. Taken by animals. Fine. Taken as trash. Fine. Swept away by a storm. Fine. But do employees who may be annoyed with a box have to flat out take it?

The Russian Potato War

Ok, so I was in the chat room talking with a bunch of people. Throughout our conversation I made a couple soviet Russia jokes. Then somewhere along the line I mentioned that I'm working on three different novels(I doubt I will finish any, but I enjoy writing).  Well, Fluffy Cow came up with a story plot (with the help of others as well) for a story about Russian potatoes. Something about eyes, and no thumbs, and potatoes falling in love. I don't normally write stories like that. I write a lot of government overthrow sort of stuff. So they went with Russian potatoes that overthrow the United States.
Well, here you go Fluffy Cows and other friends. My Russian potato story:
(Please pardon any grammar and spelling mistakes! :P)

No one saw it coming. Threats of war and nuclear strikes didn't prepare America for the evasion that crumbled the nation. The Russians never forgave the United States for their technical advancement that beat them in the Space Race. Their minds were still set in the Cold War, wanting to better America and over throw them.
They did indeed advance in technology after the war, which they used to destroy the strongest nation in the world. It seems so simple and an easy fix, but no one knew what was going on until it was too late.
It all began with a shipment of Russian potatoes. Yes potatoes. No one over looked these starchy food, waiting to be chopped up and turned into fried food. These Russian potatoes looked like any other American grown potato and were soon sorted out into dozens of other shipments of American potatoes.
Once the spuds were mixed in, they started infecting the other potatoes with a nano technology that was developed by the Russian government. Soon they were shipped off and distributed throughout the country.
Potatoes are used for so much. French fries, hash browns, mashed potatoes, baked potatoes, even potato bread. Potatoes are the most popular vegetable in America. An average American eats about 140 pounds of potatoes every year. So do you see why the Russians infiltrated the American potato supply?
Once the potato was infected with the nanos it started infecting more and more potatoes. Suddenly people started dying. People were eating the infected potatoes and the nanos were killing them. The nanos began eating the people from within, most of the time causing them to bleed out internally.
After weeks of people being infected by these potatoes a strange thing happened. The potatoes sprouted an eye. A small mechanical eye about the size of a quarter. Almost the entire nation screamed and threw the spuds when the eye appeared. It happened almost all at once. Then three little, thin mechanical legs sprouted from the bottom of the potato. The darn things could walk.
The entire nation was in chaos. No one understood how suddenly these vegetables could walk and see. The people began to calm down once they realized the potatoes were harmless. They did nothing but walk around like curious ducklings.
The United States government banned the consumption of any and all potatoes until they could find out what was going on. But by doing so, the economy began to fall within a week. No one could even buy already processed potato products.
The fall didn't last long though. People started taking a liking to the potato creatures. Potatoes were being swept up from the streets and brought into homes. Potatoes became America's most popular pet at the time.
Soon potato stores opened. People were actually wanting to dress up their potatoes and take them on walks like dogs. Everyone had a potato pet. These thing were everywhere. The government wanted to round up all the spuds to study them. As you can guess, the people said "no."
Potato activist groups began forming. "Potatoes have the same rights as animals!" "Leave our spuds alone!" "It wasn't right to eat them to begin with!" You saw signs everywhere. There were even groups that thought potatoes were aliens who have been harvested and consumed by humans for a thousand years. They were done being eaten and have now shown their true nature.
Then there were groups like the Protecting the People from Spuds group. These people knew what they were doing. The group started off with about six members. They believed that the potatoes were something else, a weapon. They never saw through the lie.
What did the group do exactly? They killed the potatoes. A few of them came from the different branches of the American defenses. They had a pretty good shot.
They began taking out the potatoes by firing a bullet into the eye piece. They took out what they could find still roaming freely. Once those were gone they started shooting people's potato pets. People weren't too happy about that.
The six PPS members were arrested and put on house arrest for six month with no fire arm access. They made national news for killing the spuds.
They started capturing wild potatoes and dissecting them to see how they work. The only issue was that one of the members was killed by one of the potatoes. He started cutting into the "live" potato and was electrocuted in return. All spuds were taken from them and they were put on an even stricter house arrest.
It was only a few weeks later that the true invasion began. The potatoes started electrocuting their owners, killing them. The nation was thrown back into chaos. They tried to flee their homes to get away from the three legged spuds but couldn't get away. They could run. Fast.
Millions of people were dying from the spuds. Information was also being down loaded and sent to the Russians. Their troops landed on American soil to take what was left of the country.
The military began fighting the potatoes and the Russians as the people tried to hide. The PPS sprung into action, taking up arms and destroying the potatoes. No one knew how to destroy the potatoes like the PPS.
The nation was falling. The PPS members tried to tell the government how to destroy the potatoes but they wouldn't listen. They were too busy fighting humans to take care of the spud issue. The potatoes were the ones doing the most damage.
American population began decreasing as the death toll increased. Their allies never came to aide them in the Russian Potato War. People coward in their homes in fear of the potatoes. The Russian government took control of the crumbling nation and made it their own.
Today, they still control the United States. Though the potatoes are not used often, we still fear them. The SPPS, Secretly Protection People from Spuds group, is rising in numbers in hopes to overthrow the Soviet government.
Our children are taught in school how the Russians saved our nation and has made us better as a whole. They will never understand how the potatoes were used against us as millions died for this new nation.
Only one good thing has come out of this war though. America is healthier than ever. With the potato shortage, America's favorite food was no longer available. We had to resort to eating things like... carrots.
So join me now, fellow Americans! Fight for your country! Rid the States of the Russians and take back our spuds! We will ris-
*We interrupt your program to bring you our weekly reminder*

*Please remember, do not provoke the potatoes. Thank You!*

So It Begins...

Alright, so if you didn't know, I am hosting my first event in July! It is for the 50th Anniversary of Doctor Who!!
I've started the big proses of getting thing together. I spent a couple of hours looking for hotels in the area. Had to go through all the reviews with my mom to find good hotels. It was weird because we know nothing about the hotels in our area because we have no need to stay at one. We found about four different places that have a range of different rates and such for boxers to choose from.
Then I spent a couple of more hours listing everything on the event page.
We are having a raffle at the event. I'm looking for donations of items for the raffle. I'm also looking or any decorations as well, like old Doctor Who calendars, cut outs of characters, posters, that sort of inexpensive stuff. I'm also looking for people interested in carving stamps for the event.
It takes a lot of time and effort to set up all these trackers and hotel information. I can't wait to host this event, but its a lot of work! I have a bunch of other things that need to be done for the event but will have to wait till July.
Now I just need to wait and see if anyone will donate stuff.
So far I have gotten one raffle item:
It makes TARDIS noise and everything! Found it at Hot Topic and will probably go back for more stuff later on.

Hope to see many of you there! And if you can't come, but would like to help, you are always welcome to donate something!

Crikey! A Wind Storm!

You know how some hats have those strings through them with that ball thing and if you push on it you can adjust it and tighten it up by your neck? I've always hated those. For the first time ever, I've been very happy to have one of this things. I bought this hat at the Walmart here were I'm staying in Florida. The Walmart was pretty cool. They had a bunch of cool stuff that our Walmart in Ohio didn't have, like my new hat. Well, I really like my new hat and I don't usually wear hats. My mom says it looks very Australian and it suits me. That's probably why I chose it. I work in the Austrailian region at the Columbus Zoo during the summer and I would really like to visit there.
Anyways, I've been wearing this hat while letterboxing. It has some advantages but also some disadvantages. Like, it helps keep the sun out of my eyes, but every time I bend over I wack my hat on the tree and such which, in turns, wacks me in the head.
If you go on AQ you will see that there are a bunch of letterboxes hidden in Englewood, Florida. The only issue is, over half of the boxes listed are unknown or missing. That only left us with a handful of boxes.
Recently I have been using the letterboxing app and taking my iPad out. It saves paper and you can save the clues so you'll have a bunch. Plus, you can still use the map without Internet connection. This came in handy... for the most part.
Yesterday we found a couple of boxes. We found two of the four we searched for. They were both drive bys and store bought stamps. One of them weren't even a legit stamp and was one of those foam stamp things. The box it was in was a lot cooler than the stamp itself. While searching for these boxes we had my grandpa along. He has letterboxed a few times but he doesn't quiet understand things and tries to rush. The clue said "3 feet up" and we knew it meant "3 feet up in the tree" but he thought it meant "3 feet up a small incline on the ground" in the wrong spot... That's why he didn't come with us today.
Yesterday it was pretty windy, but today... today was like a wind storm. My mom and I started off looking for a series along the beach. It was out lucky day and parking was free. The wind kept trying to blow my had off and I used that handy dandy ball thing and tightened it up by my chin. That had never got away once. We quickly found the first box and had to take it up to the women's bathroom to stamp in. After that we made our way out onto the beach. I'm so happy I got hiking shoes this past December. We walked, and walked, and walked down the beach. There we were, walking against the wind up the beach. I felt like I was in a sand storm and would be swept away any moment. It was crazy. We were getting closer to the next box but we couldn't get to the next location. Even though it was low tide, the wind was too crazy and pushed the current in too much. The waves blocked our path and we had to give up on our search.

The next box we went after took about 45mins to find. The clues weren't straight out clues, but hidden within a story. That's fine and all but we had to find this trail. We drove all around the parking lot and walked all along the beach area looking for the trail. Then we drove down to the next beach thinking we hadn't gone far enough. I'm pretty sure we looked like a couple of mad women driving around everywhere. Well, we had to stop and got on the Internet and checked out the clues online. We looked through the comments and found out the trail entrance was in the parking lot! We went back and found the trail and the rest was a breeze. The stamp was neat and all but when I put it back, I got stuck by this little bush! It really hurt! Oh well.
We then went searching for a box in Stump Pass Beach Park. It was a very beautiful park but still windy. We walked quiet the way a long this trail. There was even a group of teen guys who ran past hottin' and hollerin' with their surfboards. We found the location of where the box should have been, but I only found a toad, which peed on me (which really isn't pee, it's a storage of water they release hoping that they will be released). The stumps were so torn up and was clear that it had been awhile ago. I also got attacked by a small thorn stick that was hidden in the hallow log. That was not fun.

After our walk back we were starving. Both my mother and I looked awful from the wind, but that doesn't stop you when you are hungry. We went to a restaurant called Howard's. It wasn't all that great. The last time I was down here the food was great! But now... It wasn't so good. My grandparents said they got a new cook and the food hasn't been good since.
When we got home I looked up the box we were looking or at the Stump Pass Park. The one that was pulled up on my app was from LbNA which said everything was okay. However, the one listed on AQ had a different story. It was last found in 2011 and someone looked for I in 2012 and couldn't find it. I wish we would have known that. We paid three bucks to get into that park (which isn't that bad or anything, but it was a waste of time).
I'm so tiered after that. We had to of walked at least a mile today. Usually that isn't that much for me but when you are fighting and walking against the wind, it's like walking twice that.
I'm hoping to go back and look for the series on the beach if the wind lets up. A lot of the odes in Englewood are gone and that leaves me with boxes outside the city, which my mom doesn't want to drive through.
Maybe I'll have some better luck outside Englewood.
